Another Way to Spend a Saturday
A Day Retreat of Yoga, Meditation & Restoration
What if summer wasn't just about doing more, but about being more present? Join Sarah and Vivian for a nourishing day designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and cultivate practices that extend far beyond the mat. Through movement, practical meditation techniques, time on the water, and deep rest, you'll leave with simple tools to support your everyday life.
A thoughtfully curated day retreat designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and discover practices that nourish long after the day is over. Through yoga, meditation, time on the water, meaningful conversation, and deep restoration, you'll step away from the busyness of life and into the simple joy of being fully present.
We'll begin the morning with movement and an opening circle before exploring practical meditation techniques you can easily integrate into your everyday life. Then we'll take a short walk to the Center for Wooden Boats on South Lake Union, where we'll gather for a leisurely lunch on the docks.
As we enjoy the afternoon sunshine, you'll have time to journal, pull a tarot or reflection card, connect with new friends, or simply relax by the water. Throughout lunch, the Center for Wooden Boats will take small groups for peaceful 30-minute sails around Lake Union, allowing everyone the opportunity to experience Seattle from the water while others continue enjoying the dockside atmosphere before rotating aboard.
We'll return to DRIFT to close the day with gentle yoga, Yoga Nidra, and an immersive sound bath, with optional Reiki offerings—a deeply restorative finish that leaves you feeling grounded, refreshed, and ready to carry the ease of summer into your everyday life.
