NIna
With a background that spans martial arts, music, yoga, and sound healing, she brings a rich blend of movement, mindfulness, and creativity to every experience.
Born and raised in New York, Nina grew up immersed in the discipline of Taekwondo, following in the footsteps of her father, Yeon Hwan Park, the first U.S. Taekwondo Olympic Team Head Coach. Beginning her training at just three years old, she went on to become a poomsae champion and instructor, ultimately earning her third-degree black belt. This early foundation instilled in her a deep appreciation for discipline, focus, and the connection between mind and body.
Nina's creative journey also led her into the music industry, where she built a career as a Korean pop singer, songwriter, and performer. Her years on stage deepened her understanding of the power of music, sound, and vibration to evoke emotion and create connection — an influence that continues to shape her work today.
Practicing yoga since 2006, Nina initially turned to the mat for exercise and stress relief. What she discovered was something far more meaningful. Drawn to yoga's ancient teachings, philosophy, and exploration of consciousness, she found a practice that offered not only physical strength but also a deeper awareness of self — a place to return home to herself.
As the founder of Nina Glow, Nina brings her love of music and mindfulness into sound healing, incorporating her voice, crystal singing bowls, and Himalayan singing bowls to create deeply restorative sound bath experiences. Her sessions invite students to slow down, turn inward, and experience the calming qualities of sound and stillness.
