Iza
Having the opportunity to share this practice in so many various and fun ways has been a privilege — I consistently find my heart swelling with the amount of joy this practice and its people have brought into my life. In 2019 I started my personal yoga practice and, slowly after, life became so much more than just moving through the motions, it became fun, colorful, and full of feelings journey. I completed my first 200-hour YTT in 2020 and since then have completed over an additional 626 hours in various trainings. As an adventurous soul, playfulness and exploration are commonly themed into my flows to invite students to explore within their own practice. I tend to draw a lot of inspiration from multiple styles of yoga including Awakening Yoga Vinyasa, Rocket Yoga, Hatha, Soulful Flow Yoga, and Mobility.
In addition to leading classes, I’ve assisted in 200-hour YTTs, hosted international yoga retreats, and genuinely love learning more and more about this practice and this life. It’s a special thing to watch this energetic thread of belonging weave us all together, in a weirdly methodical way. There is big love for this practice and big appreciation for the people:)
Outside of the yoga room you can find me hiking up mountains, reading (love a good fantasy or a non-fiction that tickles the brain), long boarding, at the gym or enjoying time with my people.
